Generally, during a client’s first Duopody/Five Element reflexology session, you will be settled onto the massage couch, safe and comfortable, and relaxing music is played in the background.
Your feet will first be cleaned and checked for marks, lines and other visual indicators. Your feet will then be palpated to assess any imbalances within the Five Elements and all 13 of the Duopody body systems are worked through to check for any further imbalances. Findings from the feet are recorded during the session.
After your treatment has ended, I will discuss the findings with you and will advise of any after care or self help you can undertake to further support yourself.
Based on the findings from your first treatment, and taking into account your physical and emotional circumstances/difficulties ascertained during the initial consultation, a bespoke treatment plan is created for each subsequent session you have. Each is truly unique to you.
As a level 5 clinical reflexologist, I have an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This allows me to apply my client’s situation to my understanding of the body and use this deeper perspective to create a tailored session plan.
This enhances wellbeing, reduces tension and provides a deeply relaxing and holistic experience.
